The difference between BB and CC creams

If you have walked into any store lately that has cosmetics you will notice a whole range of what I like to call 'alphabet' creams that have popped up out of thin air. Lets go through each one so we can understand them better.

BB cream actually originated in Asia and has become popular here over the last year or two. This BB cream depending on what brand you use provide an SPF as well as nutrients and anti- oxidants. While the coverage is less than base it is more than a tinted moisturizer. So this is perfect for all the gals that want the all natural look. However I like a bit more coverage, so that leads us to the CC cream.

The CC cream, stands for 'colour-correcting' cream, covers and treats aspects of the face such as redness or different colour tones on the face. This cream provides a more even look and skin tone.

The key is to try the different products, because you need to know what works for you ! I personally have just started using a CC cream which is known as the 12-in-1 cream with everything you need from moisturizer to SPF, however although my skin is dry this caused a break out so it obviously did not agree with my skin, but I am willing to try another one as it is all about trial and error.
